General Policy Overview

This policy outlines how Jemez Wrench Co. conducts business, our service standards, and what we expect from our clients to ensure smooth, safe, and successful service delivery.


1. Service Commitment

We provide diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on-site for a wide range of vehicles. Services are performed by a qualified technician using professional-grade tools and equipment. We strive to:

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully
  • Provide fair, honest estimates
  • Arrive on time or notify customers promptly of delays
  • Use high-quality parts and follow manufacturer specifications when possible
  • Ensure customer satisfaction to the best of our ability

2. Customer Expectations

To maintain efficiency and safety, we ask customers to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information when scheduling service
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on level, accessible ground in a safe, legal location
  • Remove personal belongings from the area of repair
  • Notify us of any known mechanical issues, vehicle modifications, or safety concerns
  • Be available or have an authorized person present during the scheduled appointment if needed

3. Location Safety

Jemez Wrench Co. provides all necessary tools and brings its own lighting and equipment. However, we reserve the right to reschedule or decline service if the location is:

  • On unstable terrain, steep inclines, or exposed to heavy traffic
  • A hazard to technician safety (e.g., aggressive animals, high winds, poor visibility)
  • Obstructed, excessively muddy, or otherwise unsuitable for mobile work

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Cancellations with less notice may result in a fee. Repeated no-shows or short-notice cancellations may result in refusal of future service.


5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments (Zelle, Cash App, etc.).
  • Larger jobs or part orders may require a deposit.
  • Invoices not paid within 7 days may incur late fees or be subject to collections.

6. Service Limitations

We do not provide:

  • Towing services
  • Engine rebuilds or transmission swaps on-site
  • Repairs requiring a lift or specialized equipment only available in a shop
  • Service on private property without permission from the property owner

We will gladly refer or coordinate with trusted local partners for services we cannot perform on location.


7. Warranty and Liability

  • We offer a 90-day limited labor warranty on qualifying repairs with parts we supply.
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Failures due to abuse, neglect, or aftermarket modifications
    • Damage to personal items left in or near the vehicle
    • Issues arising from customer-supplied parts or prior work by other mechanics

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • The working environment is unsafe or noncompliant
  • The customer is threatening, disrespectful, or fails to cooperate
  • There is reasonable suspicion of illegal activity or risk to personal safety

9. Professional Conduct

We are committed to courteous, respectful, and professional behavior at all times. We expect the same from our customers. Any form of harassment, intimidation, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
